Jio Customer care number & email | How to escalate Jio complaints

Jio customer support is very bad these days and it is very hard to reach them even after waiting online for many hours. In this article we give you all option available to escalate your complaints and get it resolved at the earliest.

Jio Care number

Call the consumer care number 198 (toll free) or general information number 199 (toll free) from your Jio number, 1800-88-99999 from any number to reach Jio Care team and raise your compliant.

Email Jio Care

You can email your complaints to care@jio.com by mentioning your Jio number and complaint.

Jio.com/MyJio App serice request

Visit www.jio.com, login to your account with your Jio ID and password and access “Service Requests” option under your profile tab. A unique Service Request number is provided to you for the complaint registered.

Jio Twitter handle 

You can tweet your compalints to Jo @Jiocare titer handle. They will reply to your queries and raise complaint on your behaves.

Appellate Authority for complaint escalation

If you complaint is not resolved within given time (48 hours) you can escalate to higher level in Jio. Ensure that you mention your complaint docket number you received from Jio care when escalating complaints.

        This morning i got a reply from care as below…

        I am sorry to hear that the offer code generated on your device is not working or shows as redeemed and hence you are unable to purchase a new Jio connection.

        Regret to inform you that, we do not have provision to whitelist the offer code.

        I request you to kindly visit your nearest Reliance digital store along with the barcode that you have generated, your handset, a coloured photograph, proof of address and identity. I can assure they will help with the activation of a new Jio SIM. You can locate the nearest Jio stores at your location by clicking on the link https://www.jio.com/Jio/portal/storeLocator

        However, if the store representative denies to provide a new coupon code, get in touch with the store manager for assistance.

    i have taken one sim from sec 10 dwarka pinacle mall 9/10/2016 . suported ducument my passport . but i met with agent on 14/10/2016 he told that your application is forget .you fillup new form for getting sim .i have submit an application and your sim is activated within three days .i contacted on 17/10/2016 . but he said that three more days wait for activation .it is the harrasment of customer .please take action accordingly. my mobile no 9968******

    • Jio has now introduced Adhar based ekyc process in all cities. You can visit any Jio centers with your adhar number and get the SIM and activation done within 2 hours. You don’t even need to give photo or ID proof. All processed digital and Adhar verified by finger print.

  37. I bought a JioFi device in end of August just before the public rollout of Jio. Offer was truly unlimited data and voice. Now they have put cap of 4GB per day. Post that, the speed is atrocious. How can they change the plan without customer’s approval? Nobody would buy JioFi for 4GB/data per day if this was known earlier to the consumers.

    • There is a backlog of 50,000 SIM activation pending at Jio. So you can’t blame them for the delay and moreover its free, they didn’t charge you for the SIM.

      • Do you mean to say that I should get a new sim?
        If yes, ten I should first go to Delhi and buy a new sim for e-kyc because Mumbai retailers deny to take adhaar of different state.. So, migrant cannot take a new sim with e-kyc ..only born and bought up in Mumbai people ca n take the new sim
        And regarding v your concern of free sim, it is expected before launch also that you jio will be getting so much load on their network.So, this is not our problem that you are giving free sim.what is the use to buy a dongle.. I have already bought
        Jio-wifi which is of no use for me without activation of sim.

    This is really very annoying that its being around more than 10days that I have received my sim and still my sim is not activated and in a reply what I got was that my sim is already activated ,but still I have not received the phone number for the sim nor my sim is activated. I myself belong to a hospitality background I use a corporate connection from vodafone . I have chosen jio for the awesome plan that you have been providing. I wanted to stick to jio for a long time and as we know that first impression is the last impression I am having a feeling that choosing jio was a mistake . so I would request you to please look in to this matter and clearly inform me whether my sim will be activated or not as I have tried the customer care number I had waited for half an hour but still my phone call was not attended by any customer care executive . so I would request you to please look into this matter and do the need full.

Sir I got jio sim on 14th september but when i am trying to televerify it says your no has been televerified for voice and data services but i didn’t received any sms regarding televerification but they send me transaction id.I am able to make calls from my jio sim but not able to access internet.When i try to make account using myjio it says that link has been sent but actually there is no link sent at all.When i try to skip sign in it says connection to jio 4g network is required.Do i need to first make an account using my jio then only i will be able to use the net.I am not understanding what to do.customer care is also not responding.

    • For Non-VoLTE phones has to tele-verify by calling 1800-88-99999 from alternate number to activate just data. Then use Jio Join app to call 1977 for complete tele-verification.
